Caregivers from Fidelity Resources Sue for not Receiving Overtime They Were Entitled

caregiver using ipadA Complaint was filed against Fidelity Resources, Inc. (“Fidelity”) on May 25, 2017, seeking unpaid overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”). The Complaint alleges that Fidelity did not compensate their direct care staff (“Caregivers”) for overtime when they worked over 40 hours in a workweek.

Because failing to pay an employee properly for overtime is a violation of the FLSA, our firm seeks to recover liquidated damages, meaning that Fidelity employees could be entitled to double damages for the wages they are potentially owed.
