alarm clock on desk with laptopOn Monday, February 7, 2022, our firm filed a Complaint (Case No.: 1:22-cv-00328-BPG) against Smartlink, LLC (“Smartlink”). The Complaint alleges that Smartlink unlawfully denied overtime payments to its Project Coordinators. The Plaintiffs, who worked as Project Coordinators, filed their Complaint on behalf of themselves and other “similarly situated” employees who worked as Project Coordinators for Smartlink at any time within the past three (3) years.

The Complaint alleges that Smartlink willfully misclassified Project Coordinators as salaried employees, despite the fact that Plaintiffs and other Project Coordinators’ duties did not satisfy any of the exemptions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”) and applicable state wage and hour laws. We are seeking to recover unpaid overtime wages for each week that salaried Project Coordinators worked over forty (40) hours. We seek to recover liquidated (double) damages and other available relief.

If you worked as a salaried Project Coordinator for Smartlink between February 2019 and the present and were not paid overtime wages, you may have a potential claim. To learn more about this case, please contact us.
