Our Firm is Representing Employees of Clearcomm, Inc. in Overtime Lawsuit

Posted on behalf of Peter T. Nicholl in Employment Apr 10, 2019

modem cablesOn May 19, 2017, our firm filed a Complaint against Clearcomm, Inc. and its owners, Yusuf Sihweil and Sawsan Sihweil. The Complaint alleges that Clearcomm unlawfully denied overtime payments to its hourly employees, including Sales Associates and Store Managers through a variety of illegal timeclock practices and unlawful deductions. Plaintiffs filed their Complaint on behalf of themselves and other “similarly situated” employees who worked in these positions at any time within the past three (3) years.

The Complaint alleges that Clearcomm failed to pay its hourly employees overtime (“time-and-a-half”) wages when they worked more than 40 hours in a workweek. The Complaint further alleges that Plaintiffs and other similarly situated hourly employees were victims of unlawful deductions and were forced to work off-the-clock. Plaintiffs allege that this is a direct violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Our firm seeks to recover unpaid overtime wages and liquidated (double) damages for all of these employees.

If you worked for Clearcomm as a Sales Associate or Store Manager, or performed hourly work for Clearcomm at any time between May 19, 2014 and the present and were not paid overtime wages, you may have a claim.
