On July 12, 2019, our firm filed a Complaint (1:19-cv-04716) against Paylocity Corporation (“Paylocity”). The Complaint alleges that Implementation Consultants employed at Paylocity were not properly compensated for their overtime hours worked. Plaintiffs filed their Complaint on behalf of themselves and other salaried Implementation Consultants who work or worked at Paylocity at any time within the last three (3) years.
The Complaint alleges that Paylocity willfully misclassified Implementation Consultants as salaried employees, despite the fact they did not satisfy any of the exemptions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”). We are seeking to recover unpaid overtime wages for each week that salaried Implementation Consultants worked over forty (40) hours. Our firm also seeks to recover liquidated (double) damages and other statutorily-permitted relief for these employees.
