Law Offices of Peter T. Nicholl Representing Carchex Employees to Pursue Overtime Wages

Posted on behalf of Peter T. Nicholl in Employment Apr 10, 2019

worker on phone headsetOn October 5, 2017, our firm filed a Complaint against National Auto Inspections, LLC and Carchex LLC (collectively, “Carchex”).

The Complaint alleges that Carchex unlawfully denied overtime (“time-and-a-half”) payments to its Vehicle Protection Specialists when they worked over 40 hours in a week. The Complaint alleges that Carchex intentionally pays its Specialists via piece-rate payments to avoid overtime payments.

Plaintiffs filed their Complaint on behalf of themselves and other “similarly situated” employees who worked in these positions at any time within the past three (3) years.  Our firm seeks to recover unpaid overtime wages and liquidated (double) damages for all of these employees.

If you worked for Carchex as a Vehicle Protection Specialist, or performed similar job duties between October 5, 2014 and the present and were not paid overtime wages, you may have a claim.
