Peter T. Nicholl Law Offices Representing KeyPoint Employees in Overtime Hours Dispute

Posted on behalf of Peter T. Nicholl in Unpaid Overtime Sep 25, 2019

keypoint overtime hours lawsuitOn March 8, 2018, our firm and Nichols Kaster, PLLP filed a Complaint (1:18-cv-00550) against KeyPoint Government Solutions, Inc. (“KeyPoint”). The Complaint alleges that Field Investigators and Background Investigators (“Investigators”) were not properly compensated for their overtime hours worked. Plaintiffs filed their Complaint on behalf of themselves and other Field Investigators and Background Investigators who were paid by the hour and failed to receive overtime wages.

The Complaint alleges that KeyPoint failed to maintain accurate time records of the hours its Investigators worked and knew that its Investigators were working unpaid overtime hours, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”). We are seeking to recover unpaid overtime wages for Field Investigators and Background Investigators who worked over forty (40) hours in a workweek and did not recive overtime wages. Our firm also seeks to recover liquidated (double) damages and other statutorily-permitted relief for these employees.

If you work or worked for KeyPoint as a Field Investigator and/or a Background Investigator between March 2015 and the present and were not paid overtime wages, you may have a potential claim. To learn more about this case, please contact us.
