We work on contingency, so we do not get paid for representing you unless we win. It is free to meet with us in an initial consultation and if you hire us to represent you, there are no fees for us to start work on pursuing compensation.

We bear the costs of building your case until we recover compensation on your behalf. If we are successful, we charge a certain percentage to cover our costs and any other legal fees. We will go over the percentage for your case before we start work on it.

Why Do Lawyers Work with No Upfront Payments?

Our firm knows a lot of people do not have the ability to pay for a legal representation up front. Not requiring upfront payments gives people of all economic backgrounds a fair chance to potentially recover compensation for medical costs, lost income, pain and suffering, and other damages. This is particularly important considering injury victims are often taking on insurers that are prepared to spend a lot of money defending against your claim.

What Happens in a Free Case Review?

Our firm offers a Free Case Review to discuss whether you may be eligible for compensation. During this complimentary review, you will be able to ask any questions you may have about your claim. We will also go over the fees we charge at the end of the legal process. Fees for your case are all laid out in a contract that you and your attorney sign before moving forward.

What is the Process When the Case is Finalized?

After the case reaches a settlement or a successful verdict is reached, you will be presented with a closing statement. This will include the total amount of compensation awarded, along with the costs associated with the case, including our fees and debts or liens related to your medical care. Our lawyers are prepared to help you with these debts.

Funds are disbursed once you sign the closing statement.

Are There Other Fee Structures Lawyers Use?

Other law firms may not work on contingency, meaning they may require you to pay them a retainer fee up front. This can cost anywhere from several hundreds of dollars to several thousands, depending on the details of your situation. Depending on the services they may need to provide, you may or may not get some of this money back.

Lawyers who charge a retainer likely work on an hourly basis, charging clients hundreds of dollars for each hour worked. This includes time on the phone and responding to emails.
